What is the App Accelerator Program?
The MOTODEV App Accelerator Program is an early access program designed to give developers a head start in creating applications that will tap the full power of Android combined with the innovative design and features of Motorola's newest devices to create phenomenal experiences for users.
What are the benefits of the App Accelerator Program?
The App Accelerator Program provides you with early and exclusive access to everything you need to create applications that take advantage of the features of Motorola's newest devices including technical specifications and SDK add-ons for pre-released devices, and documentation, articles and sample code to help you leverage the latest device features in your apps. AAP members get to participate in private discussion boards where you have access to support from Motorola's developer support engineers and other AAP members. You will also be able to test and debug your app on the pre-released hardware via the AAP Virtual Developer Lab. And when your application is finished, you can submit it early to Motorola, so we can plug your apps into a variety of delivery channels and ensure they get early market exposure.

Is there a cost associated with the App Accelerator Program?
There is no fee to apply to the App Accelerator Program and no fees to be in the program itself. There may be some fee-based tools or services made available to program participants, such as the AAP Virtual Device Lab for testing and debugging your specific application, but developers will be told in advance of any costs associated with utilizing such tools and/or services.
What are the qualifications needed to be accepted into the App Accelerator Program?
The answers you provide us in the App Accelerator Program application form will help us determine if the App Accelerator Program is a good match for your development efforts or if the MOTODEV Program is suitable for your needs. While there are no specific criteria for the Program, we are looking for developers whose apps could benefit from early access to device-specific development resources.
How will I know if I have been accepted into the program?
After reviewing your application for submission into the App Accelerator Program, MOTODEV will notify you about the outcome of your application. If your application has been approved you will be asked to log in to review and agree to the App Accelerator Program Terms before receiving your program benefits.
How can I access App Accelerator Program tools and documentation?
After you have been approved for the program and agreed to the Program Terms, we will update your MOTODEV account to include access to the App Accelerator Program tools, documentation, services and other development resources. After that, when you are logged into MOTODEV, you will automatically see and be able to access your App Accelerator Program benefits from the MOTODEV web site.
