Installation
The installer file (.MSI) for Motorola Q Plug-in installation process is delivered through a Microsoft Installer file (.MSI) and it will integrate the plug-in into Device Emulation Manager of Windows Mobile SDK.
To install it, execute the downloaded file, and the installation process will copy the skin, keys mapping, display size and all configuration files necessary to run applications in Microsoft Visual Studio and Windows Mobile SDK. These files will be placed in the Windows Mobile 5.0 SDK for Smartphone directory. After installation, the device emulator will be available to use the plug-in in Microsoft Visual Studio.
Known Issues
The current emulator does not support the numeric input from the QWERTY keypad. To type numbers or any other character available in the secondary key entry, you must use the computer keyboard.
The Voice Key, Camera Key, Message Key and Alt Key are not available to the developers. The '?' button is also not mapped. To reproduce this character, press 'Shift' + '/' on your keyboard.
