Aloqa LBS Platform Documentation
If you are a publisher with location-relevant content (a business directory, travel site, events/movies/entertainment-related site, social network, dating site, or have any other relevant content useful for people on the go), you now have the option to create a “channel” on the Aloqa platform instead of having to spend tons of money building and supporting mobile applications for the many phones out there. Your channel can be seen by users of the Aloqa app already today and by a lot of Motorola users in the near future. By following the five steps below, you can create a channel in a matter of hours and let all your users know how to get access to that content at a small fraction of the effort and cost.
For more information about Aloqa, visit the Aloqa web site.
To publish your content, just follow these five easy steps.
1. Sign up
Please sign up for an Aloqa Publisher Account, which is required to publish your content through the Aloqa platform. If you have signed up already, you can just log in.
3. Create a channel
Create your own channel on Aloqa by using the web interface of the Aloqa Partner Portal.
4. Preview your channel
Preview what your channel will look like on your own phone.
Before you publish your content, we would like you to preview what your channel will look like in the app. This lets you make adjustments and fine-tune the way your content looks and is presented.
5. Publish to Channel Store
Publish your channel to the Aloqa Channel Store.
When you are satisfied with the channel preview, submit the channel for publishing. We will take a quick look just to ensure the content is formatted right, and there isn't anything inappropriate in the content. After this is done, the channel will be live in the channel store of apps using the Aloqa platform.
