MOTODEV Studio for UIQ is an integrated development environment, based on the Eclipse IDE, that lets you develop, debug, and deploy UIQ/Symbian applications for MOTO Z8 and MOTO Z10 handsets. This release offers a package creation wizard, a device manager view, context-sensitive Help, and a default perspective for the development environment, as well as sample applications that you can leverage to create new UIQ projects more quickly.
You may install MOTODEV Studio for UIQ by downloading and using the full installer, when available, or by updating a previously installed version. We recommend you read the install instructions for details on prerequisites, downloading, installing, updating, and uninstalling the software. For example, if you use the full installer, we recommend that you uninstall any previous versions first.
After you install, use the update management system to check for updates regularly.
For MOTODEV Studio for UIQ 1.0, UIQ SDK, Perl, and MOTODEV Studio for UIQ must be installed on the same drive.
