iDEN Java™ ME SDK vR01.00.01 for i576 Handset

The iDEN Software Development Kit for the i576 Handset for the Java™ ME platform is a tool used for developing and testing of programs written in the Java programming language. The SDK includes applications and utilities that make it easy to launch MIDlets using the i576 Java™ ME device emulator. Together, these tools allow you to develop and debug your Java™ ME programs in emulation before downloading them to a target device.

System Requirements

To use and/or install the SDK components, your system must meet the following minimum system requirements:

• 500MHz processor
• 128 MB RAM
• Windows NT/SP5, Windows2000 or Windows XP
• JDK 1.3.1 or newer
• Pixel resolution: 1024x768
• 32-bit color-display setting recommended

To support the AMR audio playback along with 3gp/H.263 video, you will need to additionally install:

• QuickTime Player from Apple®

Please note that you may need to download and install some optional components of Java 2 Standard Edition™ to support features such as HTTPS and serial port access.
