As Vice President, Software Platforms and Ecosystem for Motorola, Christy Wyatt is responsible for the development and management of Motorola's strategic platforms, ISV and developer ecosystems. Christy and her global team drive platform definition, design, and development and cultivate a thriving developer environment through partner recruitment/management, tools development and support, ISV management and go-to-market programs. She currently serves as Motorola's board member for the Linux Foundation, LiMo Foundation, and Eclipse Foundation.
Prior to joining Motorola, Christy served as Worldwide Developer Relations Director at Apple Computer where she was responsible for partners, global alliances and evangelism. Before her time at Apple, Christy was Senior Director at Palmsource Inc., responsible for their licensing and developer relations teams where she grew the developer community from 3,000 to 200,000 with more than 14,000 applications.
Christy has also held key technical, sales and business development roles at Sun Microsystems, JavaSoft and ESRI.

Steven Baker

Steven graduated with a master's degree in electrical and electronic engineering from Bradford University in the UK and his early career was spent in hardware design and program management within the Marconi group. Moving to Cambridge-based wireless business TTPCom, he product-managed their successful range of GPRS technologies from inception to full commercial deployment. He went on to direct first the sales function and then the marketing function of TTPCom's software business unit. Following acquisition by Motorola in July 2007, Steven is now marketing director of Motorola's AJAR platform.

Frank R. Bentley

Frank Bentley is a Senior Staff Research Engineer in the Motorola Social Media Research Lab. He focuses on creating experiences to help existing social groups stay connected and develop stronger social bonds. Frank joined Motorola full-time in 2002 after completing his bachelors and masters degrees in the EECS department of MIT where he also performed research in the Media Lab and Artificial Intelligence Lab. While at Motorola, Frank has worked on media management solutions including a partnership with Yahoo! Research Berkeley on the ZoneTag application, a J2ME application that allows users to tag and upload photos to Flickr with location information and names of nearby businesses, events, and social tags that are derived from GSM Cell ID. He has also worked on mobile presence applications such as Motion Presence which was presented at ACM CHI 2007. For the past two years, Frank has taught a spring semester class at MIT on Mobile Communication including design, development, and usability testing of J2ME applications.

He is responsible for distribution of digital video networks Funnybone, AXN, The Minisode Network, and Screening Room. Jim Berridge

Jim Berridge is a wireless expert with more than 10 years of industry experience. He is currently Vice President of Business Development for GoTV Networks, the first and largest mobile television network and studio group, where he is responsible for all sales channel marketing initiatives for the AT&&T Mobility, Sprint/Nextel, Alltel, and Boost Mobile portfolios. In addition, Jim manages strategic partnerships with Motorola, Qualcomm, Ericsson, Nokia, Samsung, and LG.
Prior to joining GoTV Networks, Jim spent eight years at Nokia, where he was an integral part of the sales and marketing management team. Earlier in his career, Jim held several sales and marketing roles at various companies, including MCI and UPS. John Ellis

He has held numerous leadership positions in Motorola with multiple international experiences including expatriate positions in both Europe and Asia. He is Motorola's Executive Council member to the LiMo Foundation and Co-Chair of the Mobile Linux Initiative, formerly in OSDL and now part of the Linux Foundation. Ed is responsible for developer relations at UIQ Technology.
Ed has a long history of innovation and technical achievement through previous roles as Head of Localisation at Dorling Kindersley Multimedia, where he headed the team that won the prestigious Milia D'Or for the Multimedia DVD of the Year 2000, and Head of Developer Programs at Symbian. Ed holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physics and Computing and a Masters in Optical Data Recording.
During his time at Symbian, Ed was responsible for updating the development tool chain and for instituting the successful developer day events, collaborating with Nokia and Sony Ericsson.

Christian Kurzke

Christian is responsible for the overall architecture of Motorola's software tools for external developers. As part of this role he is overseeing the creation of Motorola's first end-to-end Eclipse based IDE, MOTODEV Studio, the first version which supports developers of mobile Java applications was publicly released in August 2007.
Within the Eclipse open source community he is leading the "Tools for Mobile Linux" project, which aims to create an end-to-end tooling environment for Linux based mobile devices.
Before joining Motorola, Christian has worked at SUN Microsystems' embedded Java group where he was instrumental in the creation of the "Open Services Gateway initiative" (OSGi) an open standard for an embedded Java services framework. He then co-founded Gatespace inc. which created managed network devices based on the OSGi standard.
He holds a M.S. degree in Computer Science from University Erlangen (Germany) and an MBA degree from University of Santa Clara.

Scott Lyons

Scott Lyons began his career in New York City at MTV in the mid 90's spearheading promotions for The Video Music Awards and Movie Awards. During his time at the channel, Scott also co-founded production company Sugar. In 1998 Scott moved Sugar to London with fellow MTV colleagues and quickly made a name by producing large-scale live TV and webcast events. Scott then joined WPP's interactive agency Digit as Commercial Director and was instrumental in building up the company's reputation within the advertising world. While working on the Motorola account Scott was offered to take on a new position at the company of Music Director in the just launched Global Category Marketing team. Whilst in this position Scott spearheaded Motorola's music strategy and created platforms for preloading music across the company's device range. Scott recently joined the MotoDev team and is looking after market development in EMEA.

Dave Malouf

David Malouf has been involved in digital interaction design for 13 years. Most of his recent career has been centered on the design of enterprise software systems with a concentration of interaction design. Most recently he has taken that experience earned at companies like Documentum, IntraLinks, BMG, Sony, Prudential, Merrill Lynch, American Express, Ameritech, and UPS, to Motorola Enterprise Mobility, where he is constantly merging his lessons from the software world, with new lessons from the world of electronic device design. A thinker and evangelist of user experience design and interaction design, he has dived deeply into the juxtapositions of interaction design and industrial design as they come together to create a new user experience practice.
Outside of work, David is the Vice President and founding director of the Interaction Design Association (IxDA), a 4500+ global member organization dedicated to the advancement and promotion of the discipline of interaction design. His community of practice work leads him to getting published in various user experience design online and offline publications and speaking engagements around the world.

Prior to his current role at Motorola, Andy managed a team that led the deployment of wireless Java applications on mass market handsets across both consumer and business segments as part of the Motorola iDEN product team. In addition, Andy served as head of North American sales for Esmertec, a leading JVM provider focused on the mobile and cable industries.
Andy holds a BA and MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.
