Application Description:
This widget allows the user to retrieve real-time soccer matches. Users can check what match will be played in the next few days or which match was played a few days before and check the results. The widget displays details (i.e. start time, home/away team with logo, score, status) of the matches for that league that was selected. In addition to the soccer matches, a summary of the latest soccer news are displayed with the "scroll" effect on the top of the screen.

This Widget shows the weather in a different style than traditional ones and should be used by any person that needs to be updated about the weather, weather news and don't want to lose time, knowing what they need to, in order to be prepared. It has a modern design and has a realistic approach including background images that change in the context instead of changing just a small part of the widget. It also includes weather news around the world.
Formula 1

The Formula 1 widget was developed so everyone that has interest in the Formula 1 racing world can quickly have access to always updated news, interviews and pilots and teams championship scores. Local Search locates businesses and other points of interest in a city. Using your phone, you can find places of interest quickly and easily. You can also bookmark your favorite places, save your most frequently searched locations, and search and save locations in another city. For each location, you can see photos people have put up about the place, initiate a call, see it on a map, and get directions from where you are.

4. Who is eligible to participate?
The Competition is open to all individuals who have agreed to the Official Rules and who are of the legal age of majority, at the time of entry, to form valid contracts in their respective country, province or state of legal residence and meet any applicable U.S., national, state, local, or provincial legal requirements for participation.
The Widget Developer Challenge is void in, and not open to residents of, Cuba, Iran, Syria, North Korea, Sudan, Myanmar, or to individuals and entities restricted by U.S. export controls and sanctions, and is void in any other nation, state, or province where prohibited or restricted by U.S. or local law. In addition, the Competition is void in, and not open to residents of the Quebec Province of Canada.

- A digital copy of the application being entered in useable form. The executable file (.mpkg) and any additional files required for installation or use must be included.
- A 16-bit color screenshot (minimum of 72 dpi) that bests depicts the Application.
- User instructions document identifying how to use the application, key functionality, special features, etc.

19. Can I submit more than 1 widget?
Yes. A single unique application may be submitted to both a subject category and a regional category, but NOT to more than one subject or region. For example, a widget that tracks cricket scores may be submitted into the "Best Widget in Sports" category for Sports as well as "Best Local Content for India", but it may NOT be submitted for "Best Local Content for Latin America" as well. Entrant may submit multiple applications.
