New Tools to Streamline Your Development

New SDKs for Motorola's hottest new handsets

New releases of three SDKs are now available to get you started developing applications for several of Motorola's most engaging handsets.

The Motorola SDK 6.2 for Linux OS Handsets is updated and available for developers creating applications on the updated and feature-rich ROKR E2, as well as the large-screen E680/E680i.

Also new this month is a revised SDK for Motorola OS covering a wide variety of handsets including the RAZR, ROKR E1, PEBL, and the much anticipated MOTOKRZR K1. Included in this release is enhanced API functionality in several emulators.

Both of the above SDKs also provide a simplified API matrix, canvas screen size details for all devices and a plug in for Eclipse that ensures seamless integration with this powerful IDE.

IDEN developers will find a new release of the i880 SDK that has new features such as:

  • New Java Synergy3 themes and GIF format support
  • PTT lighting support
  • Podcast format support
  • MP3 metadata upgrade and AAC format support

No matter what product set you focus on, all Motorola developers will find new and feature-rich tools to make application creation for Motorola's most popular handsets faster, smoother and more reliable than ever.

Check out the SDKs section for a complete list of all Motorola SDKs available.
