China Java ME Competition ResultsOn August 27, Motorola and Sun announced the winners of their China Java ME development competition, held in association with J2MEDev. Dalian University of Technology's Creative College team won the Mobile Applications Group with its 2D barcode recognition app and Guangzhou Netease Interactive Entertainment Ltd. took top honors in the Mobile Entertainment group for their "3D Magic Tower" adventure game. Both were designed for the E680i handset. Jilin University's "Candy Mobile Team" won the Student Group with their "Candy IM" messaging app, running on the E680 and A780.
