MIDlet Lifecycle on Motorola Linux OS Devices
Motorola has two major mobile platforms, Motorola OS and Linux OS. Typical Motorola OS products include the MOTORAZR V3, MOTORAZR V3x, MOTOKRZR K1, and MOTOSLVR L7. Typical Linux OS products include the A780, E680, MOTOMING A1200, MOTOROKR E2, and MOTOROKR Z6.
This document outlines the changes in the Java KVM architecture which allows background running capabilities of MIDlets on the Linux OS platform and provides information to help developers create MIDlets for this platform.
