The DCH100 all-digital Host set-top provides a full set of standard-definition television (SDTV) features and interfaces.

As part of Motorola's DCH family of CableCARD™ ready set-tops, the DCH100 supports interactive applications running on Motorola's existing DCT legacy APIs or OpenCable Application Platform (OCAP™). The DCH100 also has a built-in MoCA™ home-networking interface that allows consumers to access content and resources from other set-tops over the home's existing cable infrastructure.

After the initial development phase, Motorola's Horizon Developers Program works with ISVs to perform an early integration of the application into Motorola's digital system for testing purposes, identifying open issues prior to full integration.

Follwing this test phase, Horizon also performs validation, integrating the application onto a fully functional system. A final report identifies open issues and confirms the application's readiness for commercial deployment.

The Horizon Developers Program offers launch support and special joint marketing opportunities for developers of set top applications through its Developer Partner and Associate Partner membership levels. Horizon's architectural analysis, system integration, testing and verification ensure smooth deployments of applications on the Motorola platform and help to drive operator interest in new applications.
