THE HORIZON DEVELOPERS PROGRAM

Motorola has created the Horizon Developers Program to support Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) in the design and implementation of Interactive TV solutions for services such as interactive program guides, Video on Demand systems, personal video recording, targeted advertising, gaming, e-commerce and other innovative, compelling applications. As part of the Horizon process, ISVs work closely with Motorola's engineering teams during a new application's design, development, and validation phases to reduce time to market and improve reliability of fielded solutions.

Motorola is also committed to providing a high performance, portable and extensible world-class Open Cable Applications Platform (OCAP) solution. Our Horizon Program will expand and evolve as the industry looks forward to a more wide scale deployment of OCAP. The Horizon Program will continue to support the large deployed set-top base as well as our Independent Software Vendor (ISV) program participants.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Currently, Motorola and the Horizon program team are not issuing new developer licenses, Developer Agreements or documentation for our existing line of DCT, DCH and QIP settops. However, developers will be able to take advantage of Motorola's OCAP platform starting in early 2008. Details will be posted on the MOTODEV web site as they become available.
