Only the most recent version of your app will be available for purchase in SHOP4APPS.
Downloads refer to the total number of times customers have downloaded your application. Download numbers are listed for both free and paid applications. The Purchases column reflects the actual number of financial transactions that have occurred for your application.
Customers who purchase applications have the ability to re-download these apps, which can result in download numbers being higher than purchase numbers. This may occur when a customer changes handsets, or when they download a new version of your app.
Previous versions of our download report included downloads of apps by our testing team during the testing process. This number is no longer included, which may result in a lower download number for your app.
Select 'Show Version Breakdown' under each application on your dashboard and you will be able to view downloads and purchases for each version and pricing model of your apps.
Developers can see all of their app downloads and purchases from all stores by clicking the Download Report CSV file on the Download Reports page.
General questions about reporting can be posted to the Selling Your Apps board in the MOTODEV Community. If you have specific questions about your download numbers, please use the Contact Us form on the MOTODEV web site.
Your app will be listed in the download report with a new row that includes the new price. This will allow you to see download and purchase numbers for your app at different prices.
Download and purchase numbers displayed on the Download Report page and in the Download Report CSV file are cumulative, showing the total number of downloads and purchases.
